The GI Training simulation kit consists of two loops of fabric small bowel. The kit is designed such that 4 different procedures can be learnt and practiced using the instructional videos on our YouTube channel. There is a link below which will take you to the GI folder on the channel directly, and a QR code that will link your mobile device to the same folder.
The procedures include burying a staple line, a strictureplasty, a side to side anastomosis and an end to end anastomosis.
Everything you need will be in the box, including instruments, sutures, and a device which can be used to record yourself performing the procedures which can then be sent to us for assessment and feedback on the ISCP portfolio platform.

Add to your ISCP Portfolio
Once you have recorded your procedure please submit it to our folder using the link above. When you save your video if you could label it with your name and GMC number so that I can cross reference it with your WBA on ISCP. Search for me on ISCP and send me the assessment to fill in and I will watch your video and provide feedback. I'm am registered on ISCP as David Luke GMC 4610700.
