We have spent the last couple of years gradually developing our stimulation model portfolio and clarifying how we will deliver training. Our portfolio currently consists of:
GI anastomosis model
Inguinal hernia model
Laparotomy with perforated duodenal ulcer model
Basic surgical skills kit
Home laparoscopic trainer
Stoma formation model
We have run pilot courses using the basic surgical skills trainer and the inguinal hernia model trainer, both of which are being presented at national conferences in terms of the training effectiveness. We are running a pilot course using the GI anastomosis model to teach end to end hand zone bowel anastomosis. This will hopefully be published and presented in the coming months.
Currently we are simply waiting for the final stages of kit manufacture on the GI anastomosis model after which it will be available, in the UK, as part of a complete GI anastomosis training course run remotely. When this becomes available all of the details and ways to order will be published on the website, and this will be advertised through social media and our news letter.
The cost of The GI anastomosis training course will be under £100, And this will be followed up by bringing the inguinal hernia training course on the basic surgical skills training course online in relatively quick order, all at the same cost. Please subscribe to our news letter and we will notify as and when the different courses become available. Please feel free to email us if you do have any questions. If you require more than one model for a face-to-face training course which you are running yourself then please get in touch by email and I will do my best to help and support this type of activity.
