The GI Surgery Simulation kit comprises a fabric model including two loops of simulated bowel. It is designed to allow practice of five specific techniques:
 
1. Burying a staple line across the end of a bowel loop
2. End to end hand sewn anastomosis 
3. Hand sewn side to side anastomosis
4. Strictureplasty
5. Transverse enterotomy, removal of gallstone and closure of enterotomy
 
The kit includes the bowel model, instruments, sutures and is packages in a postage box which can be turned into a camera stand so that you can video your techniques and send them to us for review and assessment using a virtual PBA on ISCP.
